Beverages as you all have gone through the previous blog about the drinks/ beverages these exotic drinks made your mouth go watery and wish to try this some day, In the previous blog we saw the types of drinks both Alcohol and Non Alcohol and varieties or different flavored drinks in both alcohol and non alcohol. Drinks are considered the second most important thing in any party or function specially in hotels and restaurants. Drinks like Mojito Bloody Marry, Blue Eyed raven are some types of alcoholic drinks specially prepared in hotels.
But there are some drinks/ beverages which are easy and can be made within few minutes which are healthier, tastier, and complete natural in nature. India is not only famous for its delicious cuisines but also its drinks / beverages. Here drinks and its taste, its recipe changes from one state to another.
So lets check out these fresh and chilling drinks found in India.🍹
1. Masala Chai - Chai, no drink could be replaced with chai/tea as Tea is considered as medicinal drink since ancient times. Tea is used as a popular beverage worldwide and its ingredients are now finding medicinal benefits. Masala Chai is famous for spicy taste which is loved by masses specially in India, Places like Mumbai, Pune are famous masala chai. It also has many benefits like the masala tea prevents colds and nasal congestion, it reduces gas, and helps in good digestion . The Masala Tea contains ingredients like ginger, green cardamoms, cloves( laung), fennel seeds ( saunf).
2. Jal Jeera - It is a drink which is chilling and fresh mostly this drink is available during the summer season. This drink is mostly well known and popular in the North parts of India. It is also consumed just before the meal as it is said to have immense appetizing abilities. Its a spiced beverage served in hot summers. The drink is stored in a giant matka wrapped with a cloth to keep it cool and it is served garnished with mint coriander leaves, boondi and masala.
3. Lassi - Lassi is only one such drink that other than being a healthy beverage, also serves as a perfect refreshing drink for people of all ages. Lassi is very loved in Punjab the punjabi people just love drinking lassi as they consider that it's a part of their meal. Adding lassi to their meal is considered as healthy and beneficial to the body, as it hepls in digestion and keeps the body heat or temperature in control., It Improves bone health , Boosts Immune System, Maintains Youthful Skin
4.Nobaato Pana - This is a kind of drink which is prepared fresh, and served chilled. "Nobaato" is a odia word which is known as (jaggery) and "Pana" means (juice). This is mostly popular in Odisha as it is considered a fresh and healthy drink.
It has vitamins B and minerals, including calcium, zinc phosphorus and copper. During the ancient times there was a belief that drinking nobaato pana would keep the stomach cool and it's beneficial during the summers. It contains Nobaato, water, pudina leaves, and some pinch of sugar can also add coconut, if required.
5. Solkadhi - Solkadhi is a type of drink, from the Indian sub continent usually eaten with rice or sometimes drunk after or along with the meals. Popular in Goa and the Maharashtra's coastal region, it is made from coconut milk and kokum, also known as Aamsol or Aamsul. A spicy
drink which is been loved by masses in the konkan side and the people who belongs nears the coastal regions. It is known for its digestive, refreshing, cleansing and cooling properties. It is a summer fruit.
6. Coconut Water - Coconut water is a most popular drink in the South of India as it is considered the best fresh, natural drink in south.
Coconut water his beneficial for stomach as it hekps to heal the heat of the body .
The liquid inside young coconuts is often preferred to the liquid of a ripened coconut.
